Prof. Dr. med. Christian D. Weber is Head of the Section of Sports Traumatology and Minimally Invasive Joint Surgery at the University Hospital RWTH Aachen. He is a specialist in Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery with additional qualifications in Sports Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Physical Therapy. He is also a certified Knee Surgeon by the German Knee Society (DKG) and an AGA expert for shoulder and knee surgery.

Under his leadership, the section covers the full range of conservative and surgical treatments in sports orthopedics and joint preservation.
