Karianne Lindenhovius, MSc graduated from Delft University of Technology in Industrial Design Engineering. She worked for Philips in new business development, moved to WeLL Design where she started in medical technology. She transitioned to UMC Utrecht where she founded Pontes Medical in 2008, an initiative to bring good product ideas from medical professionals to the market. In 2014, she was elected Engineer of the Year and received the prestigious Prince Friso Engineering Award. In 2016, she co-founded ArthroSave.
